It's getting dark...

...and we better hurry to get home!

That's what these two little girls seems to be thinking about...

Hi! I'm back!
Unfortunately, not always have free time to make some craft... But I'm happy to get back on my track!

This is my first non-totally cute ATC! I have this image for some time -I cut it from a soap envelope- and didn't know what to do with it... I imagine these two girls returning home from they first outing to the movie alone, so, I needed a dark enviroment for it, like nightfall, and for the first time I dared to darken a piece of cardstock with watercolor. And I liked how it turned out! Then, I only had to recreate an scenery for they -using the current Unscripted Sketches no. 47 - and that's it!

This is the original sketch:
Have a great week!!

Failed dreams spring.

I was working today in two more ATCs. Unfortunately, I didn't became happy with the final results. I was inspired in the current Unscripted Sketch no. 45, but I don't go to present this cards in the challenge because in neither case succeeds in the sketch.

This one is completely made with my drawings.

And this one use Toga's patterned papers.

This is the original sketch:

I think my Spring's dreams still need to spread a little more their wings!

Contemplative little bunny.

Today's ATC came with another of my drawings: a contemplative little bunny.

I used the Clean & Simple layout no. 80. The funny circle background -even imperfect- is inspired by THIS creation of Kristen Powers and the little bunny was born inspired by THIS beautiful cards created by Sarah, from Sara's Paper Tray. After all, Lucy's current challenge is about been inspired!

This is the original layout:
Hope you like my little new friend!

I'm been Inspired.

Lucy has challenged us to create a card inspired by another designer... It's not a secret that one of my Cardmaker Divas is Sarah, from Sarah's Paper Tray, and THIS card that she posted in these days just leave me amazed and looking forward to make something similar. I simply LOVE that rainbow butterfly!!! So, here is the ATC that I made thinking of her card...

And the close up to my drawing.

Thanks, Sarah, for all the inspiration I always find in your blog!

In Spring, Sakura!

Second post for today... I'm still thinking in the proximity of Spring...

The cherry blossom ('Sakura' in Japanese), which in spring full prolifically every city in Japan only for one or two weeks, is one of their national symbols and represents for them the most pristine beauty as well as the impermanence of the ephemeral life. When reaches the flowering cherry's season, Japanese go for a walk or sit in the parks under the trees to watch it full of flowers. This is a beautiful custom called "Hanami" and is one of the most enjoyable I know.

This is what I'm talking about!

Today, with the advance of the Spring in my window, I made a new ATC based on the sketch no. 57 of Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, using origami paper with the image of Sakura and a representation of one of these flowers (although they are usually white) as the focal point of the card.

This is the original sketch. It looks so simple! But was more difficult to do than I thought.

Have a nice and crafty week!

Spring in advance

Throughout Iberian Peninsule is freezing, snowing or, at least, raining a lot... However here, in Barcelona, is almost Spring! Blue sky, nice weather... even you can see some flies! This seems nice, but I really love snow and this Winter I've not seen a single snowflake (unless those of my cards). So, it's a little sad for me this advanced of Spring... I hoped to see fall at least a little snow before it reached!
So, in this mood I made another ATC, this time using the Unscripted Sketch no. 43. I think it turned out not bad but, don't know... Maybe too yellow?

This is the original (great) sketch, wich I rotated a little bit...

I think I can try one more card for it!

In Love and Friendship day.

Hope you all have had a great Valentine's Day!
Since yesterday (at night after a lovely day), I've been working in this set of six ATC's for a friend. It's my first complete set of cards, including envelopes and a card-keeper, and I could say I'm satisfied. I know a traditional set must include similar cards, but I really liked to make each card unique.

This is the card-keeper closed and opened.

And here you have the close up of the six cards.

I wrote a sentiment only in one of the cards, because I want to give my friend the chance to use each card in any case she wants to. Hope my friend like it!

Have a nice week!

Good day!

Yes... Good day to all of you and thanks for visit my blog!
Today's card is an ATC (how could it not be so?) and I choose a 'Good day' theme ('Buen dia' in spanish) for the sketch FTL 77 from Clean & Simple blog.
Love the simplest sketch like this,
and I'm really glad to wish you a really good day with this card!

Unscripted (Happy) Day.

Another ATC... This time I made a "Happy day" theme ('Feliz dia' in spanish). I can not think in make nothing else since I discovered this kind of tiny, precious cards. They make my day really happy!
For this one I used the current sketch from Unscripted Sketches Challenges.
Lovely, isn't it?

Thanks for stoppin' by and... have a great and happy day!

Mini Birthday-card

(Second post for today. Scroll down to see my first one.)

I said it before: I felt in love with this delightful, small cards. This mini-Birthday card is the second ATC that I made today and I'm still musing an idea for another one... But enough for today... maybe tomorrow.
I used the current sketch from the Mojo Monday challenge -125 and the always lovely polka dots paper for Lucy's Challenge no. 5.
